important defence tips

remember that sometimes the best defense is to get the fuck out of there. Make sure theres a garage for a vehicle or an emergency exit that leads to quite a ways away from whatever base your defending. once you have a designated escape route, get some people to defend it whether theres no zombies around for miles or thousands on the other side of the base. You can't just run towards you escape route and find out that theres a small horde there because you didn't send someone to backup the backup plan. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Some fortified structures in the past had specific “sacrifice” positions, which were actually DESIGNED to be abandoned if the need arose; Sometimes these positions were boobytraped, but more often they were simply targeted by artillery that had the range and elevation in advance, so pounding it into the ground was no loss.

Traditional combat castle, as opposed to decorative, had three rings of defense. A cleared outer approach that was designed to slow down attackers and give little shelter. The Castle walls to shelter the defenders and allow easy movement between positions. And the castle keep that often had an escape tunnel leading to a sheltered location. why not build a fence to the point where it is open enough that you could go around, that could work if it isn't a steamroller type. Do you find this valuable?

I have read this three times, even tried to draw a picture and still don't understand it.

Yeah, man. Steamroller type what? Steamroller zombie? Now, that just doesn't make any sense at all.
