Official community story thread.

Okay so this thread is for adressing overall problems with the story. Also any important information that will change the outcome of the story but is not evident in the text should be posted here.

Ive noticed that our background story is a little confusing the lack of information in the story make it hard for new authors to add. So I have devised some important back story info;1. As you should know the town that the story begins in is Bowman,TN USA 2.Me and Kuhtani talked about how the virus should originate from space, and of course they were studying it at the lab in Bowman. 3.The military has setup blocks around Bowman but they cant contain all the zombies making their way randomly outward through the feilds. They have been ordered to kill suvivors to. 4.News reports have stopped so survivors are unaware of the outside condition of the world. So ive noticed a conflicting point matt_will's part throws off our backstory a little he siad his city has been under quarantine for months and that it started as a vacine for aids that turned people to zombies. So Ive thought upn a possible solution to this well say that the vacine was made by an altered strain of the original zombie virus that was being studied in the Bowman lab but while in the course of refining the virus in the city of Ivener it was relaesed and the city was quickly quarentiened and very little info about the situation was released so the public never learned the truth. Several weeks into this outbreak the same thing happens in Bowman this time the response isnt fast enough and thus our story begins. Do you find this valuable? |

A City So Dead is distantly correlated with The Community Story since the Bowman Incident [according to ACSD] spread rapidly as the government was too corrupted and broke to effectively react this time as many smaller Outbreaks were effectively contained prior but with a severe funding deficit they scrapped the training programs designed to combat the zombies....I think it's safe to assume that if the Outbreak reaches Michigan from Tennessee within a month, the US and possibly the World itself has some serious deuce on it's hands...

This might just be me, but i think that matt_will's part should be taken out of the story. I know i sound like a jerk, but it doesn't have too much to do with the community story.

yeah, i second the motion. no offense matt_will, but a lot of your actual story plot just conflicts with the rest of it. if you can change some dates and stuff, it can work, but i stress this again and i've stressed it from the beginning, check your sources and information.

If blended into the story I agree with xombiez, it'll work, but Matt or somebody else's gotta do it. The idea of having commandos or whatever ties into my story as well, seeing that dizzdeathwing's and my characters are both former NBC specialists trained to deal with Skinnies but end up working at a Michiganian mall as Security due to the aforementioned discharge of the specialists, which may have very well caused the Bowman Incident to remain unchecked and ultimately causing the Zedpocalypse.

I know i sound like a jerk, but it doesn't have too much to do with the community story."No no your not a jerk for saying it and ive mentioned before that it contains some conflicting info I was merely trying to work it in as I didnt hear anyone else saying they didnt want it. But now that we have it in the open I will pm matt_will and try to resolve this its touchy as I wouldnt want all his time to have been wasted if a majority authors are complaining that his parts should be omitted then it will be done regardless. From here on I am esablishing a probationary piereod for all authors if an entry is voted unsatisfactory by four or more authors that part will be taken down within three days. I offically vote for the taking down of matt_wills parts before the depot page. Do you find this valuable? |

Sorry I phrased that wrong I vote for changes to be made to matt_will's part to follow the rest of the story. Dates should be synced to form a more realistic timeline and information regarded as "unrealistic" should be changed/ommited.
