¿Why amphibians?

In limited numbers, amphibians are excellent assets; Even one can supply the largest fleet with a platform capable of crossing a river or even smaller lake. By building rafts, the fleet can then be ferried across by a cable, with minimal cost. Even inflatable rafts, if suffeintly large enough, can carry a vehicle (in only one safely. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
