"i'm pretty sure after the government collapses that the game wardens won't give a shit about poaching.By season, he is talking about how some animals migrate. Only certain times of the year when they would be present to hunt. Do you find this valuable? |

Yeah, that's true, like how certain fish pop up at certain times of the year...Gotcha. Also, for those living where you get a decent Winter, Rabbits and other furry critters are best hunted in Winter, every other season I get fleas on me [my traps just happen to be outside and set at marked spots so I don't step in them like an idiot] and it's annoying as all get-out, especially when they hop in your ears...ACH!!

The animal population will grow at a large rate. There will be less hunting, fishing, cars, and they will retake territory they lost to housing. Unless animals are infected, or Skin jobs attack animals also.

What about drinkable water? I'd keep a sport bottle filter handy , so I could drink without worrying about corpse juice.

"By season, he is talking about how some animals migrate. Only certain times of the year when they would be present to hunt."ah i see. i do quite a bit of my fair share of hunting, but in an apocalypse situation, i think i'll have a very valuable resource already handy:: texas is cattle country, especially right were i live..... herds of cattle everywhere... i need to get my hands on a native american lifestyl;e book i once saw. it discribed in detail everything that they used a buffalo for, nothing was wasted, and i'd like to know those tricks. i know some of the best, and most durable homemade canteens come from blown up and trimmed cow bladders, etc 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

"i know some of the best, and most durable homemade canteens come from blown up and trimmed cow bladders, etc"I would make damn sure that it is properly sanitized first, but other than that you are completely right. What better to use to hold liquid than an organ devoted to that cause? You can use the bones for weapons as well. I read somewhere about an axe being made of a jaw bone and a stick. They just lashed the bone and the stick together and put a slightly sharper edge on the bone. From what I read it worked preety well too. Do you find this valuable? |
