So what do people think? Any Feed back would be great; positive or negative - better hear the harsh truth now than realize on Zday! Do you find this valuable?

A few things. If were taking this seriously then sort out your spelling, plan wise on the other hand: Why Eigg? its a long way away from edinburgh and passing to the west coast will pass population centres especially if you plan on following the rail network. What is TAC? if it is the territorial army then I would say ditch that huge numbers of people will be going to them for help and that just means more likelyhood of meeting the infected. If that is out of desperation to get a ranged weapon, (L85A2) then I think that it is a waste of time. sort yourself out with something a bit more basic. i personally have access to a crossbow for zday. Any sort of gun in the UK will be extremely hard to get hold of in the first place and then sorting out and supplying yourself with ammunition will be next to impossible.
My problem with Eigg is the Gulf stream. You know, the current that drags all the warm water with it from Southern America any floaters will be carried right to your doorstep all the way from the States. And there will be alot of them. If this is a plan for Edinburgh then why not utilise the Forth there are Islands there big enough to hold whole comunities to grow crops and they could provide easy access to the mainland for any salvage and rescue opperations. If your looking to do this on your own then any of the island will be big enough. I am currently reccomending Inchcolm Island. it already has shelter in the way of the old Abbey there and it has steep sides so hopefully less of the walking dead will just walk up the shore.
Either way Good Luck on Z Day.

He is going to Eigg, a place in Scotland. If you expected the Original Post author to respond you might look at the date of his post. You might also look at the other responses to the post.

New folks often do not look at the dates. Sometimes the topic is intriguing enough that you have a new question or a new view that makes it worth reviving an old thread. All too often new folks see a topic and throw their 2 cents in before they realize there are 25 pages of responses. It is obvious to the oldtimers that little effort was made to see that the "new idea" was hashed out over a few of those pages.

In this case the destination is clearly stated in the Plan page and in one of the responses. So we can see by the question, "were (sic) are you going to go" that you did not read the page, nor the responses, that you did not look at the dates, and all this on a thread with a single page.

"i did read the hole page and did not recall him saying were he was going"
To cut petrako a little slack here HighlandR seems to assume we all know Eigg is an island of the coast and does little to draw attention to the fact.
Possibly because there is no mention of how his team were going to manage the crossing. He said "Transport: foot, landrover and Bedford." A Bedford was a kind of truck much used by the UK military but as far as I know wasn't f**king amphibious so I guess they were planning to walk across eight miles of sea!
