1. RE: Movie Theatre?

Well its not a REALLY good defensible location but its average. It already has food and water. And the movie theaters could act like safety bunkers as long as you bar off the exits. The main snack area would be cleaned out as emergency usage in case of a big zombie threat. The cons are that some movie theaters have lots of big open windows. So you would have to amount for that. And plus all those halls could be filled with zombie's at every corner. If I were to try and hold a good fort that could survive a Class 2 or even Class 3 attack. I would probably put lookouts in the snack area and not ever use the movie theaters. And only specify a few box offices because it would be hard to keep track of all that space. And use the (I don't know what there called) but I would use the little glassed room that has the movie projector as a last ditch defense. Horde all the food in a couple places so that wherever you are you still have some rations. And definitely, somehow learn to at least blanket or cut off the windows. Thats the biggest problems since there's SO many fire exits. So a horde of zombie's could easily get in if one door is not checked since their hidden in small places. But yeah its not the best but its about a 6/10 on the defense scale.

"What do you mean by class 2 and 3:"Well this is quoted from "The Zombie Survival Guide" and translated because I'm not good at explaining it: Class 1: Its about maybe 10-30 zombies. A low level outbreak that can be taken care of easily if handled right. Law enforcement is still at ready with minimal chaos ensued. Class 2: Usually in urban environments that zombie's can range from 30-100 and up to a 1000. Military may be called in and some cities evacuated if it gets out of hand and the media doesn't get a hold on this. Class 3: A full scale-zombie outbreak with thousands of zombie's spanned over miles and miles. Military and cities can be in chaos and some places may be cut off or "quarantined. The outbreak could last months. So a theatre may stand up to a class 2 if the people there are on there toes but if its a class 3 then it should be a temporary outpost for zombie defense since there's so many. Oh yeah and a class 4 is just a world-wide outbreak threatening to annihilate man-kind. Do you find this valuable? |
