if it was a kid i'd lay them down for a nap and shoot them while they were asleep, an adult then the call is up to them. Do you find this valuable?

Honestly, I might not kill them at all. I might just duct-tape them to a secure 2×4 until they turned, THEN put a plastic bag over their head and beat them with a baseball bat until their shoulders sink down to about their nipples. (That doesn’t count as “killing” the disease killed them, not me.) Do you find this valuable?

I would seriously detain them in an extremely secure manner and see what all happens to them. Plus, I honestly don't think I could kill them while they were still "human". I'd have to wait until they completely turned, and even then, I'd probably have to wait until they lunged(?) at me or something. Do you find this valuable?

if it was my fiance or daughter, i couldn't do it, i have thought about this alot. i think i would lock them into a room or building. post a sign and leave and never look back. I know it'd be the humane thing to off them, offing them would save them from an undead hell. but even as undead, it'd be one of those things i don't think i could do Do you find this valuable?

How could I force them to go through the transformation? What horrors would they suffer as they turned? Would it not save them much suffering to terminate their suffering and terminate them quickly? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

As a mother of 3 I think I tend to agree with byates. I would hope that I would be able to be unselfish enough to not let them suffer that way. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

hmmm curious to ponder the k"killing the undead. if there maybe no afterlife maybe an undead state is the closest well reach for better or worse. is it better to exist or nor exist no matter what the state

It would be hard to kill off the ones I love. My mom is elderly so it's getting close to her time anyway. My children, I'd say my goodbyes leave them in a closet with a note, if I couldn't do it. If I could manage to shoot them, as any other way would be slow and just cause more suffering, I'd truly become a monster. People say that I'm heartless now, they have no idea. To protect my kids, I'd do just about anything. Without them I would have no reason other than an eye for an eye. Meaning, you took what I had and now I'm going to take as many of you out as I can. I would kill them in the manner of their choosing, if they were cooperative. If not...let them run until they no longer can, then kill them quickly. If they try to fight, well then I'm going to kill them out of self-defense anyway. To not kill an infected person allows for the chance that the 'disease' will spread. Even using Andy's method still leaves a chance of escape and later spread. Do you find this valuable?

ZombPhil question of day:

"More merciful to let your kid Change then kill their horribly reanimated corpse, risking self and all with you, or let them die with dignity, swiftly?"

If in my group my son takes a bite, or if it is me, the Standing Orders are to "Execute and Cry Later".

Zed Times are not "Now Times" where mercy, caring, and consideration is something we'll have time to spend on. Compassion is a luxury.

You good folks seem not to be able to divorce your minds from the current to the future.
A future so horrible and things so beastly that the only things that survive are the Quick and Prepared.

Wasting precious time worrying about "Cousin Bob" and "..what he is feeling.." will be interesting when you and rest of your Survivors are in turn Eaten...

Eaten while whining about shit you can't change, and wasted what precious time you HAD bullshitting about your precious feelings...

You'll have time to emote, cry and remember, do all that good Dr. Phil stuff AFTER you are safe..
