Hey i did some research, and i think its funny hows everybody and their brother is flipping out because the whole mayans calender ending at 2012. truth is that the mayans have two cycles: a short cycle (our basic year) and a long cycle, the mayans with all their advanced astronomy predicted what is pretty much a glorified eclipse and decided to end their long cycle of that date (dec 2012) once that day is up, and weve all made resolutions and sipped champagne, the next long cycle comes up. they just didnt bother to put the next one in the calendar i imagine.

so its not the end of the world, just a eclipse thats been awaited for a couple thousand years Do you find this valuable?
