This site: http://www.gun-shots.net/class-three-iii-firearm-gun-dealers.shtml has a list of dealers buy state where you can purchase Machine Guns and the like (Class III weapons). If is the only place I can find that makes it easy to find these type of weapons. Although some of the links are broken. Tell me what you think!

Machine guns and Heavy weapons are probably going to be pretty useless against zombies. You'll be better off with something no greater than semi-auto, and accurate enough for headshots.

On the other hand, it might be a good idea to have a few around for other groups competing for your resourses...

I only wanted a machine gun for defending a permanent base. This M1919: http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/beta/storeproduct456.aspx is perfect for defending a base against zeds. It is relatively inexpensive ($1,200), and although its not .50 cal, it is a relatively big gun (.308), big enough to scare away human raiders. Additionally, the best part of this gun is it is semi-auto. Which it allows you to conserve your ammunition and, like you said, be accurate enough for headshots.

6. If it is "semi-auto" it is certainly NOT a machinegun

That neat 1919 "rifle", even though beltfed like its parent machinegun is certainly NOT a machinegun. Go ahead and buy it, cool toy, lots of fun to play with. Heavy, awkward, requires tripod or sandbagging to be accurate, and ammo in 762x63 or 762x51 in belts is a pain in the ass to link up. 1200 usd will buy you a lotta neat gun that one can man portable and not have to fool with. If you should decide to discuss this issue, my corporation owns a 1919A4, and it is shot the shit out of when we can get it to range and set it up.. This one doesn't a Semi setting.. i actually knew it was a rifle despite what i wrote before. it says in the description on the webpage "rifle". but w/e, you bring up a lot of good points. where can you get weapons (and weapon accessories) cheap? Like AR-15, Shotguns, Pistols, and Revolvers?also, that 1919a4 gun you are talking aobut sounds sick! Do you find this valuable? |

http://www.dragonmans.com/dragonman/dragonman/www/Darms/darms.htmlIn Colorado, a buddy of mine used to shop there, excellent weapons. Just an FYI, another friend of mine has his Class III current, and it cost him over $3K to renew it!!! Do you find this valuable? |
