one of my personal favorite ways to protect your feet is, when in a snow and ice climate, to use ice spikes to kill zombies. ice spikes are primarily used to scale ice walls as a sport, but when needed they can double as a good way to pierce/cave-in a zombie skull. cleats will work as well but unlike ice spikes they are not removeable and also they have no ankle support unlike the boots that the spikes attach to. Do you find this valuable?

you would have to worry about getting your foot grabbed if you miss, or fail to kill the zombie in one stomp. although it is an interesting idea Do you find this valuable?

itll still be relatively easy for them to tug you off balance, i dont know if you ever wrestled in high school but once youve actually got the leg, the take down is only too easy 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

true but they are a lot slower so this can be easier if done quickly. and by the way i did wrestle in high school and i still do. not to be boastful but i did win 16 out of twenty matches.

yes and the only reason i lost the 17th is because Mike Reddin almost broke my ankle with his steel toed boots; that was when i wore tennis shoes. i never wore them again unless i was working out in the weight room. they don't allow boots. and don't worry; you don't sound like an ass.
