Ugh, people will still be having sex post Z-Day, rest assured. These people will more than likely either be on the road or have fortifications setup, so yes, unfortunately there will most likely be sex slaves post Z-Day.

People will definitely be having sex, that's for sure. Sex slaves? Probably. Some jerk is bound to want to sell his virgin 8 yr old kid for food & there will always be some perv who can't get his pleasure on his own. Also, some ppl will think of selling their bodies for food/shelter/etc--even nice ppl. Starve to death...or have sex with this gross dude who will feed you up front if you agree? You've never been that hungry if you think you'll say no out of hand. Some prostitutes like the dubious security of having a pimp/madam. Pimping is just a modified form of sexual slavery, ostensibly the difference being consent between pimp & whore. Post zack, that will more often resemble the situations that currently exist in human trafficking because there won't be any authorities around to force their operations underground.Young women, and kids of both sexes are beaten, drugged, and otherwise abused into submission because doing so makes it easy to tend them. It happens now, not only in rich countries but in poor countries that you might think resembled a post-apocalyptic setting. (Often because war & famine have pretty much done that amount of damage.) Yes, slaves are an expense, but a slaver has them because they bring some kind of material benefit. Like any business concern, you charge enough to cover your expenses and hopefully make a profit. It doesn't have to be money. It could be food, drugs (of whatever kind), ammo, skilled labor ... whatever. Apart from benefiting from those wanting to sell themselves or their kids, these ppl may sometimes face the problem of having to get their stock from the survivors ... and the people smart enough and strong enough to survive any length of time are going to be harder to catch and control. On the other hand, the obstacle that was government intervention in their operations will have been removed so they can be much more overt in their activities. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. I plan on not getting into this situation, mainly due to the fact that my group are not going to let the only one who has a plan (yeah, nothing may go to plan but it's still good to have a few and be prepared) get taken away and raped. Especially the one who has the firearm ha-ha.I'd hope that my fitness would serve me well in fleeing a situation such as being cornered by a gang with bad intentions. I also hope that they wouldn't dare stick anything near my mouth, for their sake, I have a history of biting dentists trying to put a mirror on a stick near my mouth, let alone some cocky-ass gang member who thinks he can tame me for his own sick, personal pleasures. More fool them for under-estimating us and thinking that praying on women will actually achieve anything. Do you find this valuable? |

There are biological responses that can overcome emotional stress. Some argue that because a man gets an erection, he wants it. This isn't true, The body has responses to certain types of physical stimulus. You cannot argue that a woman cannot rape a man, because it has happened, and continues to happen. You don't hear about it often because many men who are victims feel too ashamed of the situation to seek help. Let's end this debate now.

Avoid the issue in the first place by staying out of sight, with a large group of men who are well-equipped to protect themselves AND you. Of course, what are you doing for them, so they are willing to do this? Hope you can cook...Seriously, rape gangs will be common after the SHTF. You will not survive alone or with a small group. Get serious about making local survivor friends or just resign yourself to get well-abused in that time. Easy choice, hu? Do you find this valuable? |

Well, during wars, and hell just random people walking home or whatever, get raped. Usually by a single man. To belive that you are somehow special and can fight your way out of a whole group of men is really nothing you should count on.
