it would be extremly hard to find all of this military stuff. Just think about it how often do you see a m139 minigun? Especially if you like me live in a state or city or county like new york that puts a ban or handicap on gun ownership. Im simply saying probobly the most advanced stuff you can find is what is in your local police station. Do you find this valuable?

.. better know how to run what you can grab and go with.

Or better yet have your place to hole up in, and know how to use what you've got on hand.

Better the old Winchester Thutty-Thutty and a big handful of plain label ammo than the supposed greatly desired Magggnumm Shootenboomer that is supposed to blast everything is is pointed at all to hell..

Only well placed hits count.

Not all of those weapons are restricted from the total public. Maybe from Joe, Average but if you have the right firearms licences you can have some of the weapons on that list 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Let's not forget that the military would be brought in to deal with this threat and when they end up as lunchmeat their hard-to-digest weapons would be there for the taking. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

Also keep in mind the military will, yes, be called in, but not specifically at your location. Just because zombies are near you doesn't mean the military is, if this is a global crisis, the military is either A.) gone or scattered, B.) Not near you, or C.) Gone.

If you DO find those weapons laying around, congrats and power to you. I just hope you know how to use them (which you will probably learn how to quickly or figure it out, but I'd suggest trying to find something about how to load and take care of them beforehand if possible).

Anyways, the point of my discussion is that you can't depend on the military. In the end your just going to have yourself and anyone else you ended up with. Finding actual ballistic weaponary will probably be fairly difficult unless you already own one or have them available nearby for use, which most people don't (including me).
