I'm sorry
Feb 4 2009, 10:57 PM EST | Post edited: Feb 4 2009, 10:57 PM EST
Well, as most of you have noticed, my activity level on the site has decreased significantly. I haven't posted up in three weeks what I would normally post in a single day. Well, I have a good excuse that I am sure most of you are going to be excited to hear about. I'm currently in Atlanta finishing my survival manual. I have submitted a first draft, and received an overwhelming responce to my work. I also received over a hundred pages of notes. My work will chronicle every aspect of each type of invasion, escape plans, blah blah blah blah. As you can imagine, I am actually getting tired of explaining it over and over (which I have to do to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who hears about it).

As of now, there is one thousand four hundred and seventy-two pages. That is not including illustrations such as blueprints, maps, pictures, and drawings. And that was before I got my notes back, which actually mainly asked for more content. The reason I mention this is because as it looks now, I won't be able to be as active as I thought I was for a good while until I finish this project. Then, I am going on a nice long vacation. And hoping to never hear the "Z" word for atleast six weeks. I have a loose deadline of four weeks before they would like a resubmitting of the book, so it looks like I won't be heavily active for atleast three months, though I will do my best to pop on every now and again to give my input where I can.

If you wish to know more about my work, or have any suggestions while this book is still being built, please feel free to contact me. I spend most of my days sitting in down-town ATL, sipping on a jones soda in starbucks with my laptop, checking out the cute girls, and "trying" to work, so I am online most of the day. And should the outbreak happen before then, I suggest ya'll make your way here, since I will have the only complete copy. hehe. Catch you all later. Ohh, and nice posting about WWZ!

Thanks brother. I will still be around to be post on here my ideas and suggestions, so it isn't like I will be completely gone. So far, everyone seems to love the book. It's a long read, but I tried to cover every single aspect that I could possibly think of, and I know my family will be glad for this to be over. I think I have annoyed my poor family to tears with constant talks about the Zeds.

Ohh, anyone on here from Z-squad, thanks for the other night. I had a great time. And for those of you who don't know about Zombie Squad, please take the time to google them and read all about them. It's a great way to prepare for any kind of invasion, inform the public, and help people out in the mean time. It's a great platform for community service, and I can't emphisize enough how important it is to, not only exhibit some kind of philanthropy, but to start the ground work for your preparation of any kind of disaster.

One final note before I head off for the night... WHO IN THE WORLD TOOK DOWN THE THREAD OF "Romance in the age of zombies"? This was my favorite thread. Shout out to Violent! Loved it babe. Keep up the good work. Can't wait for the next thread.

4. The release

We are shooting to a release date in July. There are a ton of factors that will influence that projected date, ofcourse. Mainly me. I actually have to stop going out, sober up, and work. I mean, I'm 25 and the girls are so beautiful here. Plus, I'm on the rebound. But, I know...I know... Gotta get my butt in gear for the sake of everyones survival and such. Though, I will be getting more help in the next few days, and will be able to get more done. Anyone in ATL, you should hit me up while I am in town. Would always love to meet my Z brothers and sisters. Do you find this valuable?

Most of my pen work goes to technical work and professional documents. Is always a kick to ass in a good way to get published, "INK, INCH LINES!!1!OmFG!!!One!One!!!111!" :)

Good for you Deac, let us know when the work(s) get released or set for pre-publication reviews.

Hard work to make things evolve and work well on paper. For those with the *Muse* it is a labor of love. For those of we whom the Muse left at the bar? We pay bill and don't get kissed!

Right now I am working on a chapter about the world as it is in 72 hours after the invasion. The effects of no human intervention will have on the world around us, and the cascading events that will lead to melt-down of, not only goverments as a whole, but the complete infustructure of society as we know it. Really, all I wanna do is lay down and sleep. Hang over is killing me. Polished off a bottle of pep and moving on to a bottle of advil.Going to be a long night. Still noone in ATL up for chilling? Figured there would atleast be one person on this site who wants to have a night of hanging out.... I got the new Resident Evil 5 game the other day! Complete copy was sent to the publishers for me to review and enjoy, as well as a new Xbox 360 (cause my old one is so crappy that you literally have to beat it to get the laser to recognize the disk). Gotta tell you guys... This game is AWESOME! I loved Dead Rising, and basically all zombie games, but this one takes the cake. Do you find this valuable?

I'll be in ATL for the next month... Or longer, depending on how long it takes me to finish this. Then once I'm done, I'll head home for a week, or so, and then go on a very long vacation. Thinking about going somewhere tropical. And no. I am not going to go check out anything for the Zeds. If I can make it through the entire vacation without hearing the Z word, I will consider myself a very very lucky man. Looking like australia is going to be my best option. Nice weather, good night life, and legalization in some of the states insures I will enjoy myself. Do you find this valuable?

Yeah. That is why I am in ATL. I turned in the manual draft awhile back, and they were reviewing it. The meeting inwhich they go over all the notes, and give me thier opinions of the materials is the meeting I had to come here for this time. I am staying in Atlanta though for a month while I finish the second draft and then going on vacation while they review it again. Hopefully, there will be no need for a third edition. Hey bro I remember you. Long time no see. Good luck on your book! I was a bit of a writer myself but I took a real long break from my old book (it was non-zombie related, though. I know how the crunch time is. Do you find this valuable?
