The several serious points on here
Feb 10 2009, 5:33 AM EST
Firstly, about the dental care, this may sound gross, but I have brushed my teeth perhaps twice in the past month. I've been doing this for the last few years. Why? I'm not really sure, it bugs me to no end. But I've never had anyone complain about bad breath and although my teeth are slightly yellow, they are still completely healthy, which my dentist testifies to. SO I wouldn't worry too much about brushing your teeth and whatnot, if it ends up being a problem. And the thing with the fire... 1) Yes, but you shouldn't be fighting during the night, and if you are, then randomly burning things will cause harm to yourself, others and your shelter. 2) True, but considering the fact that this won't kill them, now all you have facing you is a bunch of zombies that you can't engage in hand-to-hand combat, will burn your shelter if they decide to touch it and will stink to high heaven, demoralizing you and your fellow survivors. 3) It doesn't make any difference whether they're on fire or not. The moaning is what will make you turn around, and even if it doesn't, you shouldn't have an exposed back anyway. You'll die if you do. 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

Not only is there a direct correlation between oral health and general health, but you'll be paying for it when you're 45 and are told you need dentures.

"there there like an 8 on the scale( theres a scale of acidic and the opiste of accidic i forget the name)"PH scale measures acidity and alkalinity with 7.0 being normal (PH of stream water) lemon juice has a PH of 1.5 and battery acid a PH of.5 obviously the lower the more acidic. Even if you're brushing your teeth properly, you could easilly get a chipped tooth, a tooth knocked out, or some other oral problem. Therein lies the dillema.By the way, when I was 7-14 years old, I probably brushed my teeth fifteen times. Now, my teeth are crooked, but fine, otherwise. Do you find this valuable? |

It depends on the person. Some people can get away with that, some brush their teeth twice a day like clockwork and still get cavities. I always forget to brush and I haven't had a cavity in five years at least. My mom constantly needs to have things taken care of and she brushes religously.
