Living cheap in your vehicle
Feb 21 2009, 7:35 PM EST
http://www.cheaprvliving.com/articles on how to live in your vehicle, types of vehicles, budget, modifications, etc. One article is on living in a Ford Festiva, so a bigger car like a VW Rabbit should be easy? And speaking of budgets, I know some of you are on tight budgets, he shows two budgets, one for $500 a month and the other for $1000, food, gas, insurance, cell phone, etc. Do you find this valuable?

"Using my Tahoe as housing is a cornerstone of my zombie survival plan. I have a 2 man tent if I loose my rig, but my truck has enough room for me to sleep inside comfortably, and the roof rack offers cargo room to free up interior room. Do you find this valuable? |

Yes Alex, here ya go.In regards to this thread: One of the reasons I'm such a fan of the Kawasaki KLR 650 is that you can mount a bunch of stuff on it... I'm just trying to imagine how I might mount a 2 person tent on it. Do you find this valuable? |

"Has anyone looked at their Bug Out Vehicle with an eye to using it as long term housing?"In the zedpoc, it would be an option for a longer term stays. My F250 has a fold-out bed in the back seat, but for more people, I have no idea. Do you find this valuable? |
