I really enjoyed reading what I thought was an informative book by Max Brooks but I looked at the back of the cover and in small print it said HUMOR. Nothing against the book but is Max Brooks really giving us reliable information? Do you find this valuable?

I never read the book, but they have a website on the book. Pretty much the basics about the book. Did you read the virus section? If zombies do become real, the virus, if it's true, is great. It takes them a full day to become a zombie. But, to get back on subject. I kinda believed it, then I kinda didn't. And if it says HUMOR on the back. Then this just means Max Brooks has a big imagination. My guess is as good as yours on this guy. Do you find this valuable?

No, it would be hell on earth. You may have to kill your mother/brother/sister/children. You would likely be living without power or running water. Most people would be huddled in their homes afraid of making the slightest noise. Starvation would claim many. Bodies would pile up and nasty things would be floating through the air and the water for you to ingest. What? Your baby sister is sick? That's too bad. The only doctor is in a group that shoots at anyone that comes near. Guess you'll have to watch her die a slow death.

There would be nothing great about it being real.

It is fiction pure and simple. There are no zombies out to eat your brains. Just how old are you anyway? Do you find this valuable?

I believe what that user meant was that Solanum would be much easier to handle then the T-virus, G virus, rage zombie virus etc.

No need to get anal about it. Some people believe zombies are plausible, some just like the concept. The ZSG was convincingly deadpan anyway. Do you find this valuable?

I was not attempting to be 'anal' as you say. I really wanted to know how old he was. I had my grandson thinking they were real for several days but he is only eight. From the tiny little picture I can not see how old he is.

You are going by printed words. As often happens things are taken out of context. After looking over my post..... yeah, it does look like I was trying to be anal. I should have put the last question on a line by itself or at least phrased it differently.

Of course people like the concept. This web site wouldn't be here otherwise. Do you find this valuable?
