I'm from Tekonsha MI. I heard about this site from my cousin Dave. I'm a black sheep of the gung-ho family. Never in the military and never wanted to be. I hate the smells of farming. I like to build things and work on cars. I am a machinist by trade. (un-employed at this time due to factory closing). I do handy man jobs and work on peoples cars to make a living for now. I am also taking community college classes in computers. My plan is to get out of here after a week (if not sooner), I don't think trying to hold out in a house trailer is a good idea. I may hook up with my extended family out at their farms, but then again I like to keep my options more open. I'm not rich like some of my family but I am never broke. I always find a way to get by, no matter what I have to do. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

As of now I am 18 Miles south-west of LansingAvoiding populated areas we are anywhere between 8-14 hours of travel apart and I don't plan on traveling until I am forced to. So unfortunately if by "get out of here" you mean leave the state then we probably will never have a convenient time to group up. If we were to ever group up, I would suggest Rieger Park in Albion, we could group up there then send out scouting parties (made of the survivors we brought with us) to find a easily fortified building and create out Z-Day plan form there I already have a mechanic and I am also enrolled at a community college learning about computers (idk when that would be useful in a apocalypse but you never know) Do you find this valuable? |

OK that's a fair enough travel time, but I'm not willing to risk it unless I'm promised more survivors... (call me selfish or call me smart)

I live 20 minutes west of Jackson, out side of Spring Arbor. If you want to know were look at the survivors map, even though it put the arrow on the wrong side of town. Do you find this valuable? |

I'm about twenty minutes north of Flint, with a fully fleshed-out plan and several others that know of it and are supportive, of moving north along the coast of lake Huron to the Manitoulin Islands in Lake Huron.
