Concrete Canvas

Nice, good find!I like the fact that it can be fully submerged in water, and then be flexible for 2 hours alloing you to nail it to other constructions for added protection. This would be useful if you placed it over a weatherboard house, as it would absorb the impact of minor calibre bullets, offering some increased protection from bandits. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

"... as it would absorb the impact of minor calibre bullets, offering some increased protection from bandits."Not likely, unless you used a butt load of it. If you want cheap, easy bullet stopping protection, you're better off with sandbags or stacks of newspaper. Do you find this valuable? |

"Not likely, unless you used a butt load of it. If you want cheap, easy bullet stopping protection, you're better off with sandbags or stacks of newspaper. "On the website it says that it can be used for refugee camps and protection from live ammo, but it's probably only seriously useful against rimfire rounds. Newspapers eh? Not bad.... This is an old thread but I just had someone send me the video of this stuff and it shows it being used a building that can be erected in a couple of hours. They say that in 24 hours you can bury it. Sounds like it would make a quick bunker or underground storage facility if you own a tractor with a front end loader.http://www.concretecanvas.co.uk/Concrete_Canvas_Shelters.html Do you find this valuable? |
