Assuming you live in the continental US, Mexico or Canada Where would you go on Z-Day (for long-term survival)?

Anywhere with a low population density and winters that get below freezing. Basically right where I am now.

Try, TO THE SOUTH. Why the fuck would you go further north into cold, snowy territory when you could be on a beach somewhere?

"Try, TO THE SOUTH. Why the fuck would you go further north into cold, snowy territory when you could be on a beach somewhere?"I hate heat. Even the 80 degree weather here is too hot for me. I like a brisk 50 degrees. Do you find this valuable? |

"Try, TO THE SOUTH. Why the fuck would you go further north into cold, snowy territory when you could be on a beach somewhere?"Because a zombie who is frozen solid is alot less likely to bite you. That and most of the world's population is found around the equator. That means more zeds. Do you find this valuable? |

"It doesn't matter if you've frozen to death youself."I actually overstated my hate for heat. I can deal with a dry heat, even up to 90. I don't like humid 80's though. I need to follow one of you guys, I have no chance if I'm going anywhere far myself. Do you find this valuable? |

"It doesn't matter if you've frozen to death youself."I live in Western New York State near Rochester. It's cold and snowy from November to April. We survive just fine. I've never heard anybody freezing to death around here. We all have woodstoves. Do you find this valuable? |

"I live in Western New York State near Rochester. It's cold and snowy from November to April. We survive just fine. I've never heard anybody freezing to death around here. We all have woodstoves."then what would be the chances of freezing a zombie at that temperature? chances are he'll just shrug it off considering that adrenaline would be pumped in his system and warm himself up the moment he sees a person. that and don't forget zeds still have their clothes on so if anything he'll be warm by himself Do you find this valuable? |

How would every zombie be perfectly dressed in winter gear?

"How would every zombie be perfectly dressed in winter gear?"well unless they contracted the virus or what not when they're showering or naked chances are they are still in their "out" clothes. doesn't have to be complete winter gear but it doesn't really take ALL that much to stay warm Do you find this valuable? |

"why would you want to go to the south? its not like the zombies are going to get dehydratedActually, it is quite possible that they will. Whether or not they need or are even able to drink water, they are still made of flesh and tissue just like the rest of us. You'd end up with 160lbs of jerky. Try putting a nice juicy steak out in the desert sun for a day and tell me what it looks like afterwards. Tissue is Tissue, and will dry out and wither like anything else. what? that made no sense. EDIT: Okay, now I got it. For some reason I thought you meant get dehydrated standing around watching a steak. If you are NOT a zombie, you can find water. It's in the ground, in plants, etc. In the desert you seek shade, move at night, make shelters, dress appropriately, etc. A zombie will not find water or seek shade, they will just walk around in the heat, however they were dressed when they died.
