"Hello, I'm wanting to buy a machete, but i don't know if the site is reliable. Has anyone here experience with this site?Anytime the words “rough and ready” and “bone” are used in the same sentence I would be concerned that the item will be delivered by some guy named Todd wearing chaps and assless jeans. Why not go to a hardware store or outdoor shop. Aside from Todd and his chaps, I hate ordering things online, especially from places I have never heard of. Do you find this valuable? |

Possible, but i loved the looks of the rough and ready bone machete, but i'll try to contact them and ask. If it isn't possible to use them for cutting etc. i'll look again at the woodmans pal.

"Heh, you're probaly right. I'll take your advice. "I got so screwed last time I ordered online. I ordered a book from B & N and my ATM # was snatched out of the air. It took a year to clean up the mess and that was with help. The only thing worse is ordering from TV at like 3:00am when you are so tired you think you actually need a sham wow. I don't really have any expierience with this site but movie replica weapons are never realible. Generally they can be used for one or two fights at best. Movie replicas are generally made for looks and aren't usually made to be durable weapon during real combat and never to slice open zombie skulls.

"Hello, I'm wanting to buy a machete, but i don't know if the site is reliable. Has anyone here experience with this site?My friend bought one of their blades and let me try it out. All I can say is, "Holy crap!" These things are wicked looking and are specifically made to hack off limbs. Sliced cleanly through everything we took it to. It's made of spring steel so the blade can flex back and forth and still retain its shape. They have a video on YouTube where they bend it at a 90 degree angle and step on it, and it still goes back to the normal shape. Tough, sharp, awesome. The guys that make them are as, if not more prepared than a lot of the people on this site. Top of the line when it comes to zombie cutters. Do you find this valuable? |

A hardware store or tool shop would be your best bet as they are cheap and reliable, it may not have the "look" you want, but it will get the job done.I have ordered from the UK cold-steel website and it was quick service, that I trusted, and they have some cool looking ones on there, as well as some cool tomahawks and some cool speciality items http://www.coldsteel.com/ Do you find this valuable? |

Same company, but cheaper prices. I own two of their machetes and I wouldn't buy any other brand. Do you find this valuable? |

I'm still laughing my arse off from someone ordering todd and his chaps (I am assuming they are assless lol ) and now Tree you've found him for 10 bucks less oh God you're killing me lol The only thing I can suggest is to invest in a good synthetic sharpening stone. Hopefully not delivered by Todd and his arseless chaps lol @necroslaughter. Chaps used to be protective gear for riding horses. They went on over your cloths so you didn't need an arse, leather was expensive. They protected you from brush. They just got really gayed up after horses stopped being the main mode of transit lol. I blame the village people. Do you find this valuable? |

"yeah these prices are a lot better, go here lol your save about $10 per item"I'll pay a little extra from the actual company if I really like their products. They get a little more money to go towards paying the people there and to do some more research for new products. It's a strange for of investing, but they make products I never have to question as far a performance goes. Plus they have one of the best customer service people you'll ever meet. That in itself is worth a few more dollars IMO lol. Do you find this valuable? |
