What Boardgame do you have in your safe house?
Jun 4 2009, 9:02 PM EDT
Just a random thought, but if you secure your safe house properly then you'll have alot of down time. Now to keep the demons at bay you need a plan to eat up down time that is quiet. So Board games are perfect for the bored survivor. What would be the game youd want to hold out with? I'd have chess.

I like Cranium WoW edition, because it's quite fun, and very re playable. Also "Origins of Expressions," Because in addition to killing tons of time, will also keep a bit of history alive. Do you find this valuable? |

I'd go with Monopoly, seeing as you'd actually have enough time to play a full game.

"a deck of cards is ideal- you can play hundreds of games.<----------Scrabble Fan It's probably a good idea if I don't bring it though, I have been accused of taking Scrabble too seriously. As if that's possible! But with all the guns around, I guess better safe than sorry. Do you find this valuable? |

I think I would have to take:Cards - 1000's of games you can play. Checkers and chess set - 2 games in lone box, plus you can use the checkers for table hockey, and other games. Dominoes - you can play or just have fun making new design's and watching them tumble over. Do you find this valuable? |

Risk, Rook, Chess/Checkers and since we have kids we'd have to include Hungry, Hungry Hippos and Bingo.

Risk - I love it, I play it whenever there are enough people.Chess - I love this, too. I even have a custom made 3x weighed set. Darts - Meh, but fun on occasions. Cards - Almost infinitely re-playable. Pens and paper - 3 word stories*, poems, short stories, and the like. *ThreeWordStories is where someone writes 3 words, and passes it to the next person, who does the same. "What is a 3x weighed set?"What do you think it is? A set that weighs roughly 3.4 times as much as a normal set. And yes, I rounded down. Do you find this valuable? |
