Julius Ceaser once Laid seige to a city by building two walls around it. the first, inner wall was to keep the occupants in and the second, outter wall was to keep reinforcments out. what goo is retaking a city if as soon you move on the zeds move back in behind you. Build the two walls first. then retake one block and shrink your inner wall so that that block is in between the two walls. continue to do this and you will eventually have the city back and no zeds inside plus a wall to keep others out. now you have a whole city to do with what ypu want.

use the buildings for the majority of the inner wall and use nearby cars and other materials to barricade the roads and exits to the building that face the outside of the inner wall. For the outer wall, dig a 5' trench and pile all of the dirt on the inside thus creating a a wall approximately 8-9 feet high. reinforce the top with sticks, pipes, etc. Anything that is straight and sturdy. Now for the labor. Hopefully you won't be trying to attempt to retake a city with fewer than 20 people. and the larger the city the more people required, once you reach a certain point thoughthe city will have to be broken into sections, with each section being retaken block by block. but for smaller cities, the two wall method is an excellant way to zeds in and out at the same time.

with men. assuming we are taking a small city or a city block why not garrison a blockading froce? you shouldnt be taki ng a group without a squad bi enough to do this. simplys send a 2 man unit to monitor every entrance. as you move in modify your inner wall. once you have taken your specifyed area choose a local froce build a car wall with neiboring debreis and man men on the walls and use your claimed land for whatever reason you claimed it. i assume you should bring 100 men to seige and make the wall and 10-20 to make and arm your new settlement

Ridiculously labor intensive. Even with earth-moving equipment even surrounding a small modern town would require two walls miles and miles long, not even thinking of all the buried utilities which would be destroyed in the process. This idea is not even an option that bears consideration.A more logical option would be to wait the zeds out until they succumbed to either starvation or necrosis and stopped being a threat to you and your group. Honestly, your grammar, jared, makes me think you are 10.Are your fantastic 100 seige engineers, several builders, and many more soldiers REALLY going to take orders from a kid? Do you find this valuable? |
