just like the 300 guys from russia doing live action role playing to fallout 3 at an abondend sovit base i think it would be cool to do an officle ZSDW camp out or something. Do you find this valuable?

Truly, that would be a camp-out of epickal proportions.

But think about the people who can't go, those who have day jobs, those who live outside of the USA, those who live on the OTHER SIDE OF the USA.

I would guess that only 5 people would show up. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

It's a great idea and would be fantastic if it worked out, but I just can't see it happening.

To be honest, it seems a tad eccentric.

I personally would come if I had the time and the event occured within a three-hour drive of my lil' part of Canada, but I doubt if too many others would be any more likely than myself to come.

Again, it's a nice idea, but I can't really see it coming together. 4  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

I too live in Canada and I know i probably wouldn't be able to either. Good Idea though Do you find this valuable?

true, because of issues like jobs,location of said event,and because of how spread out our members are but maybe some day it could be possible,if each state or country had head members that could arange these things at local parks or wooded areas but that is probley impossible to set up. (i like the idea though) 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Well, everybody in the US seems to live on the East.

If the event was set up in Pennsylvania or West Virginia, which are both pretty central and very near to the biggest groups of members, then you might get a decent turn-out. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

true, i myself am moving to virgina soon and that would be a reasonble drive so im pretty sure with plenty of notice we could a decent number of people. Do you find this valuable?

Look into it; that'd be good.

By the way, I'd suggest that you do it at some point during the summer months, seeing as a large number on here are college students, and, of course, they would be on summer break at the time. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

This could work if carefully planned and sufficient commitment were made. Much like a reunion: known date & location. Is this to be a force on force paintball event?

Will Commader (sic) M look up a suitable field of play near civilization (lodging, food) or are we going to rough it too? Do you find this valuable?

So, more or less, you want a LARP?

What I was actually planning on doing was organizing some small zombie games.
Once we'd established a decent rule set and player base, we'd start larger and larger games under the ZSDW name.

Members could then use these established rules to play regional operations, which would be easier then a single, hard to get to op.

If such games started to pull in capital, we could organize an annual hike or something like Zombie Squad does, better the quality of props and the like used in games, etc. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

well i think that we could do survivor on zombie paintball you know more games like that a good camp out like in the mountains so we have to hike there more or less like a ZSDW post-apocalyptic event to see how a group could work together to survive a weekend in the wilderness by using there own gear and bug out bags (no fire arms) and food like mres and instant noodles.

i would like to see this work and become an annual thing if the russians can do it we can do it better! Do you find this valuable?

I was actually working out a large scale airsoft event. Been discussing the possibility of using Jericho, which is quite a versatile field. Trying to buy guns and props to be dispersed through the field and used by players.

Well considering we're an international community....

The main reason I want to do a game rather then a survival weekend, is that it would be much open to different player bases. Tell people about a zombie skirmish on a massive scale, they say "hey, that is pretty damn cool."
If the game goes well, more attention for the wiki and a strong base to plan future games.

A large hike in the woods with the ZSDW? They'll likely have never even heard of us, and it would be impractical to hold more then one. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

your right i own air soft guns and paint ball guns and thats not a bad idea and getting more members is always good but mybe some time in the future a survival weekend for the members we already have wouldnt be that bad,what better way to test your skills with your gear than actually getting out there and doing it for real Do you find this valuable?

It'd definitely be nice, but you'd need some large activities planned and multiple events, which aren't always practical.
Something for the hopefully not too distant future. Do you find this valuable?
