Barricades/Defenses- Take Or Trash?

ToT time, kiddies. What sort of materials/barricades would and wouldn't you use? When in doubt, consider a small, 2-story suburban house.First, the obvious one: Wooden Planks Do you find this valuable?

Take, I can use it for many thigns if not barricading, including needed firewood or acutally building something.A bunch of tarps (waterproof) Do you find this valuable? |

"Zip ties?"Take. Can be used to tie pieces of a trap together, tie your bag to a tree so animals don't get into it while you sleep, even tie off a wound if you're desperate enough. A large (18") mirror. Do you find this valuable? |

One, 18 inches is not large. Two, even if you meant feet, it would probably be very flimsy. An 100 foot roll of 4 foot tall chain link fencing. No posts. I said that cause I have it in my backyard. Do you find this valuable? |

"Plastic paint buckets"Take. Can collect rainwater, or use for portable storage, or even as an alarm system (tie wire to bucket full of noisy objects, such as glass) Flat Screen Television? Assuming it doesn't work. Do you find this valuable? |

Drill air holes in it so kids or smaller women could fit inside if the base is overrun. Add a lock inside so it can't be opened from the outside. 2 clothes line poles Do you find this valuable? |

Add a lock inside so it can't be opened from the outside. Take, I can use it as I would a wooden plank or firewood. Also, can be used to prop things up or as it was intended to use. A box of shattered glass. Do you find this valuable? |

Sounds like something I'd be throwing OUT of my base. Trash. Or at least spread it around the house, to serve as an alarm and to keep barefooted people away. A car (it won't run, but you can push it) Do you find this valuable? |
