Effectiveness varies depending on zombie type: Solanum-type won't be eaten by anything. T-Virus seems as though it won't be affected. 28DL are still alive, and maggots only eat dead flesh. DOTD types seem as though they won't be affected.

But really, why come up with unneccessary methods? You think you will get bored shooting zombies in the head? Do you find this valuable?
