Republic of Cascadia.

Anyone in the B.C., West Washington, or West Oregon area interested in forming a "Loose" group o' folks who would discuss making a safe haven happen in the NorthWest area? I know of a few folks on this site from this Area. Do you find this valuable?

What do you mean West, Oregon? Portland?

Because i've been looking through this site recently and have found really nothing of good use involving plans when it comes to Oregon.. the best one i found was some stupid kid who can't spell words right! I don't know about you but i'm not trusting my life with someone who can't spell!

I really want to find more people who live in the Washington/Oregon area who would maybe want to rendezvous with us when Z-Day hits.

Oh yeah do you live in Washinton or Oregon? If Oregon, work on some rendezvous points please.

I live in western washington. I have a total of 22 (possibly more) people in my survival group. My question to you is, what do you mean by "safe haven". Do you mean the entire Cascade region, one fortified city, or a small territory in the cascades? Do you find this valuable?

I personally think southern Oregon is a better bet, lower population, less harsh weather. Do you find this valuable?

Yeah I live 20 minutes from Portland. But i also live 5 minutes from hundreds of miles of forest and farmland. After that its Mt. Hood. My B.O.L. is my local high school. I know high school are a public meeting place so they are bad BOL's but this high school has Nuclear bomb shelter that can fit 500 people. Heres the kicker know one knows it exists. I know it exists because every high school built in the 60's in Oregon and California was equiped with one. There are also vents all around the school property. My second plan was to take a hike into the hundreds of thousand of forest but i like the bomb shelter that no one knows about better. Do you find this valuable?

True, i think all of Oregon is good though. were a very large state that is still largely under-developed with a population of around 2 million. A million of which live in Portland.

I currently live in Beaverton, but have lived in Grants Pass, and Klamath Falls before. Out of the three, I like Grants Pass the most for a disaster situation. Klamath is just way too cold in the winter, and Beaverton is too populated.

It might be good to have A rev location by the Columbia. That way we could evac with boats if we had to. Or use a barge as a base.
