Zed's head is on the floor. or his spinal cord is smashed, rendering him a head attached to a useless corspe. well, only after i get proper training and a proper weapon, of course. I didn't think much of machetes until I used one to clear heavy brush a couple of summers ago. You can definitely put enough force behind one to open up a human skull (not that I've tried). I did find that the one I was using did get dull rather quickly. Something more exotic and hard to find might be a trench knife, though I would rather just have a spike bayonet on the end of an Enfield. How's that bayonet on your AR-15 working out for you? It doesn't seem like an AR-15 was designed to be thrust. I'm sure the butt could destroy a skull, though. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Sigh Dude, the AR-15 is a civilian designated weapon that is VERY similar to the current M16/M4. It is ABSOLUTY designed to thrust. It's also designed to deliver a proper butt-stroke & it's designed to be used to Jab, strike, smash, etc... a person at short range. If it wasn't, the rifle wouldn't have been developed to be fitted with a Bayonet lug then sold on the mass market, much less be sold to the U.S. Military. Me? My favorite is a machete-like beast of a weapon I made from an old leaf spring and some hickory for the handle. It could possibly be the ugliest thing ever wielded by man. But it works. It's a bit beefer than a rat tail, and isn't welded on but is one contiguous piece of steel. It's certainly not a full tang, I'd almost be inclined to call it a 1/2 full tang.
