ZombieVirus	How would you clear a massive hoard of zombies Aug 24 2009, 4:40 PM EDT If I was faced with a crowd of zombies i would use moltovs if i was on foot, now on a armored bus like in Dawn of the Dead(2004) I would toss gas tanks and shoot them, but i could use more ideas Post reply Do you find this valuable? That's way more than even a MOAB, and it's the second most powerful non-nuclear bomb out there. Anyways, I'd avoid any horde of zombies if at all possible. Mabey if you had a clear path to run away from them but if your surrounded then they will still have time to eat you while they are on fire xD Oh and shooting propanetanks only works if you loosen or damage the valve and light it before you shoot it... Just keep that in mind Oh btw has anyone ever Heard of the AA-12? xD Either load it up with 12 gauge in a gaint 40 round box mag and fire into them full auto about at head or neck level with very little recoil with the very little recoil of the AA-12 should be easy to control... OR My personal fav load up the same 40 box mag with HE frag 12 rounds and make sure you far enough back to not have zombie parts splatter XD Thats my plan :D Post reply Do you find this valuable?

RE: How would you clear a massive hoard of zombies Aug 24 2009, 7:32 PM EDT in order for the gas tanks to explode with a bullet, you would need an ignition source that is more certain. most of the time bullets dont produce a spark when shooting a gas tank. you need to attach a road flare to the fuel tank, light the flare, throw the fuel tank then shoot it. why a moltov cocktail? fire dont kill zombies fast. ever seen a zombie on fire? moltov is not a smart move. This is when sitting on Wal-Marts roof with a lawn chair, a six pack and a AR-15 (with a few thousand rounds of course) becomes the way to spend a day. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Agreed, this is assuming that you can actually escape the structure that you fill up with Z's. what if the horde extends beyond your jump? And its possible that setting fires may be counterproductive.. I'm assuming that EMS/Fire/etc will be balls deep in emergencies. the very fire you set may set your own house on fire.. And whos to say what the intellegence of zombies are.. what if they do see you jump out the window.. What is the effectiveness of setting the structure on fire if they just simply see you and follow you? If they walked in behind you, they can walk out.. unless you have somehow rigged the house prior to the horde comming in. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

I thought about construction equipment and since I'm used to tracked stuff I dismissed it all as too slow. The wheeled loader is great though, in a pinch there are those spike wheeled units at most dumps too, that would lead to true carnage. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

RE: How would you clear a massive hoard of zombies Aug 24 2009, 11:36 PM EDT "Meh I'd just use a barrel be it metal or plastic Even a trashcan would prolly be better than a log" aaa but it would ruin the point. you see a log bomb is a sharpnel weapon(which is why the massive range in perfect conditions) but the sharpnel is so fricken large no thing made out of tissue or bone can survive it. you see its not just a small log, its a hollowed out recently cut tree thats plugged up and full of gunpowder.(most vehicles can move it, and its great for when you lure zombies into a open area near it) a trashcan or metal/plastic container would only have small sharpnel doing about as much damage as a frag, and frags dont do crap against a zombie that can only be killed in the head. and metal bends unlike wood which breaks.
