And "9mm handgun" is very generic. 3. What is a 12 guage magnum? - I will personally just grab my dad's S&W 12 guage, and the Browning .22. You need to be more realistic. While it would be awesome to have a slew of black rifles at our fingertips, it just aint happening. Ask your dad about his guns, if he has any. Maybe ask if you could go to the range a few times with them. And just asking, are you saying you want an AK-47 because you like the feel, stopping power, etc, or because Max Brooks says so? The reason is that, because they are obviously much more intelligent than us, they'll just monitor our internet (see ; facebook or another community) and see that the human race is just a waste of time, and leave again. OnT ; I feel that my weapon(s) of choice would be the worst, either a frying pan, hockey stick or a baseball bat. You assume everything would be a best case scenario, dont do that. Assume no guns will lie around, get a gun yourself instead, train with said weapon and be prepared. A gun wont do you any good if you just find it (and possibly broken) and go ahead and shoot with it, hitting something as small as the head is fairly hard for someone with experience in the weapon, just imagine if you're a beginner... Also, who knows what gun they might bring? Do you know about every weapon there is around? Would you know how to repair it, should it break? Would you know what ammunition that is suitable for said weapon? Unless you know those things, a gun will only be as good as it's from scratch and with the ammunition loaded inside, once you've shot all your rounds and you dont know what ammunition it uses, it's nothing more than a cumbersome club.
