Hey guys can someone read my story? Started 2 days ago and this is my first time writing. Need suggestions for better title and image and want to know if the beginning is acceptable Do you find this valuable?

Spelling/grammar check first of all.

Also, your style isn't implicit enough.
Instead of saying "There's nothing like watching people get eaten alive" as a general statement, make your character act as if that is his/her opinion. Do you find this valuable?

I just updated the story but then i couldn't save it!!! I kept clicking but it wouldn't let me save!!! Then I clicked on something and it saved it without the changes!!!! I am so pissed of right now >:(
But it was on a Mac, so that may be the reason why. Do you find this valuable?

Were you using Internet Explorer? Or writing during an update? Do you find this valuable?

Writing on the Internet. I have a Mac and a PC, would have used the latter but my sister was using it so I had to use the Mac Do you find this valuable?

I am currently writing my own but i just want to know how long do you guys think it will take for a class 4 outbreak to occur and when do you think people will start flooding the wal-marts and other big box retailers? Do you find this valuable?

Hopefully, it never will. A class four by Brook's definition, is basically the end of the world. The zedpocalypse would have to be going full power for sometime to get anywhere near that large.

Walmart? Well, pretty much the first sign of panic, thrifty shoppers will start picking everything up. When it becomes plain that the crap did really hit the fan, it'll be a warzone. Do you find this valuable?

thx this is gonna be really helpful to me this way i can add some backstory instead of just going like 1 year later after i introduce the characters Do you find this valuable?

P.S. i need a good name for a weapon that as i said in one of my previous threads a flamr that throws melting acid.
I'm thinking JO-16 becuase JO are my first leters of my name and 2016 is the setting of my story,

When i write, for some reason i spell better.(that's why my story or "novel" is being writen as a first draft on paper. Do you find this valuable?

Well, you tend to work harder on what you care about, you know? My grammar takes a nosedirve when I go on an IM.

Well, that sounds interesting, but would it be a decent primary weapon? I mean, it sounds more like a body disposal, or other set piece weapon. Do you find this valuable?

Just a bit of poetry I started a while back on the DF forums, decided to finish it.


A Vantage Point

Even smothered by smoke and blood tinged cries, the city below beckons.
Of glorious battles, untouched treasures, and limitless exploration.

Still.... the appeal of such seems filthy, lost in a world that ceased to care long ago.
What matters is not within my reach, nor my sight.

Where lays the solace of familiarity?

Eyes that could convey intimacy and understanding by themselves,
a doorway to a soul untouched by such meaningless insanities filling this world.

A heart that would take the burdens of what should have rightly been buried,
and continues to mourn, tremor, ache in crystalline, delicate beauty.

So little was physical.... but still, her absence burns with such a tangible pain,
and my searches have thrown asunder the secrets of the metropolis below.

Every cramped cubby and tunnel of a last stand, every broken-down door of escape,
every damned place that no one would, or should, have to know of.

I look not for the marked spot, nor the hallowed ground, but,
for the phantom trail, it's touch and voice and presence.

Here, high above my work and my challenge, I stand.
Some place between relief and despair, at such scale and beauty.

Torn at by wind and uttered phrases, I can earnestly ponder if there is any will left.

In moments too fleeting to be certain, I know.
I remember the smile, the voice, that was always worth fighting for, dying for.

My own conflict is not a singular one, not in the least.

Even in this world of shifting times and changing souls,
I can be certain, that no self-righteous people, no hellish crucible, no icy grasp,
shall keep me from her lonely battle. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?
