Hello everyone. I would like to run for the moderator position of Minister of Finance. For those who know me i was here since last year, i have been active and alway given help. As an ex moderator i know what is exspected of me and i know what the rule and requirements are. All i ask is that someone believe in me enough to take this position. In my statement i was part of the Original moderation team, Im good with money, and i have proven countless times im reliability and dedication to this site, Ive seen the best and worst times. The reason i would like this spot is so i can once again start the store and hopefully get us more well know then we our... I hope you recommend me for this spot.......SSRCP 7  out of 12 found this valuable. Do you?

I don't honestly have much experience with, so must ask:

If you were competent as a moderator, why'd you get bumped down?

Details would help in a decision for that. When dealing with a Finance position, sound judgement is a must.

If it was a misunderstanding, no big deal.

Currently my understanding is they are looking into the viability of moving the site. If that were to happen, it would need to be funded, probably through ads. Finance Mod would handle that.

Yes, the "Minister of Finance", whom I am considering renaming to "Chancellor", will care for:

Advertisement funding and revenue, should we implement them.

Estabilishing a ZSDW bank account.

Running the ZSDW store, not yet open.

Mods are up for nomination until the 20th. After that I believe it will be an open vote from every member.

Admins are up for nomination for a few positions until the 20th. I don't know if it is a member vote or just a mode vote after that. Mod vote makes sense, since they can tell what goes on behind-the-scenes that us plebs don't get to see.

It's because he couldn't spell, had numerous run-ins with the rules, and he... didn't do a whole lot.

I see.

RCP, it's not really a shining endorsement there. I would have to say it doesn't look good for you, unless there is another admin who would back you.

Honest opinion, SSRCP:

Judging from posts of yours I have read in the past, it is my opinion that you are not mature enough to be burdened with any more responsibilities than you currently own.

The conduct of the moderation staff must be above reproach, so as to reflect credit upon the Mod and the entire site. Starting threads titled "Sucks." with absolutely no rationale to back them up tells me two things:

1) You are not mature enough to handle situations objectively, tactfully or respectfully,

and

2) You do not have the ability to think about the potential consequences of your actions, this post being one of them (ironically).

Both of these qualities are ABSOLUTELY necessary for a moderator to possess. And for my vote I will not accept an I.O.U - I have to see deserving conduct well in advance for my endorsement.

on another note...the position of chancellor of finances is a very sensitive position, none but the most trusted admin/mod should be appointed to handle it. Money has a tendency to make people do stupid things... Do you find this valuable?

I know ive had issues who hasnt.....But every year i am responable for helping to run and orginize the JDRF walks. Also im a server and i worked as a manager...Being able to do things on the internet and RL are two different things...You ask about maturity level...I was here for the best and worst when i was demoted i could have left but no i stayed...Anyone who needs my help can ask for it...I asked marsden personally if i could run and he had no issue with it the mods need someone who they can trust and if you where in my spot would you belittle someone for a mistake they made a year ago? i know i wouldnt...I know i messed up in the past but im asking for a second chance to redeem myself... I used to work on this site for everything...The store, the polls, Farming, Page orginization...All done was i was not a mod, Im not asking you to be my best freind, im asking for a chance...I know i would do it for you, AND if you really can look at me and say that after being demoted and honestly taking as much demotion as i have on this thread and messages i got i think by not being a baby that can say a small bit.....I used to work on the store i had a website almost ready to lunch and a supplier willing to help us, i only want the chance to finish what i started...Weither you believe in me enought to take the spot thats your choice...Im not trying to be dramatic or anything....I just want this chance, one last chance to prove myself hell let me make the store and someone else can hold the cash i just wanna prove myself to be a changed person and i want to help finish what i started

And that is why I never even thought about trying to become a moderator....

SSRCP- I don't think it's gonna happen

Of course.... If the members vote on a new moderator, he actually "could" become a moderator though right?

Not that I think he's gonna get many votes, but, why would you even let the regular members vote if the other moderators could just deny them?

It's a question of messes. Mods can make bigger messes than RUs.
