Shotguns!!!

For all of you who love shotguns this is your thread! A shotgun demands respect, but true lovers of the shotgun know that versatility is what makes this weapon truly king of them all. I think it's about time that the shotgun was given the respect it deserves but before we get to the good stuff lets get a few things out of the way. The shotgun is loud, bulky, and has limited range so unless you have something valuable to contribute don't state the obvious. Now the good stuff: almost anything can be shot out off the shotgun which means that there's a type of round for any job that needs doing! This means you can use it for much more than taking out zeds, it can hunt any type of game, breach doors, and take down a hostel target with non-lethal force. Have an opinion on the best shotgun? The round you presented is pretty awesome for what it's worth. It would work well ( I presume) against Raiders & such, but if you miss-handle the round (like me & my friends did) it will mutate the barrel into something that can only do one of two things: Either make mince meat of the weapon handler, or make mince meat of the handler & the target. Do you find this valuable? |

We went through only 5 rounds & ended up Farking up the barrel. Mind you, this was before we even knew ( me & my mates) that cleaning a weapon was necessary. Even then, we though it was a good idea to lube the barrel without even reading the D&mn instructions. End result.... my 22in barrel was toast. Do you find this valuable? |

I rock the saiga 12G with a drum :) Or the extended mag :) For those of you notfamilar with it.. its from the same people that bought you the AK. I'm looking into sending it into tromix for some work.. the sites need work, some grip work needs to be done, etc.. I like the drum BUT, with that huge thing on it it really throws the balance off. But Gadfekking damm.. The saiga 12 with a drum delivers a devestating wall-o-lead. It fires faster than you can hold the sites on the target. AWESOME.!!! I'm considering a shotgun like the remington 870, I just like the feel of it, good price good gun.. really :) How can I go wrong? Do you find this valuable? |

id get me a hydra with the three barrels. awesome stopping power and id get one in 10 gauge thats the biggest you can get. dont shoot all three barrels at once though because it will knock you on your ass. the baddies wont know what hit them.

The "hydra" is a fictional weapon from a video game. There are all sorts of reasons why this weapon isn't even practical. Don't be a silly child.
