What I think..

Well if you were bit, I think the symtoms whould be becoming dizzy, cold and clamy, fealings of tiredness, and fealing like you are incredable weak and also confused.

I think you could tell by that the fact it whould slowly cease bleeding but not scab over. Along with the fact it whould be raw, sore and stinging.

And I think you MAY be able to save someone that has been bit by cutting away the bitten flesh and buning the wounds emedialty after a bite.

Well I look at "Zombie infection" more like a desease then somthing super naturural, for example, I look at it like a hyper-active and extreamly agressive rabies.

And rabies spreads one way by bites, becuase it is in the saliva, and the infected saliva gets into the blood stream and spreds thoughout the body.

So if the zobie infection works like rabies, it may be posible to rid the infection by cutting away where the saliva has spread and destroying any lingering infection by buring the cut, however, I think the bite whould have to small in order to do this in time and with out killing the bitten.

But that is just the my theory about how to save someone.

It might be a good idea for you to find out just how fast blood flows through the human body.

Even a small bite will break capilleries. And viruses are not like those snake venoms which you hear about people "sucking out" every now and then. I answered another thread recently on this topic. I'll see if I can find it.

To be fair, capillary circulation is a bit slower than circulation in say, veins or arteries. With a small scratch or abrasion this is plausible.

I have heard that peeing after sex can reduce your chance of getting HIV. This is like that - a hail mary. Worth a shot, considering the alternative. Better than just sitting around waiting to die.

capilleries is 1-2mm/min, veins and arteries 435cm/sec.

I pretty much said the same thing in the linked thread, although that was with regard to larger bites and whole limb amputation.

Worth a shot, given the alternative. But better to put the effort into avoiding contact altogether rather than packing a scalpel, Dettol and a lighter.
