The Best [Armour] Money Can Buy

I'd like to hear from people what they would wear for protection, whether it be plain clothes or medieval knight wear.

I, personally, think I'd wear lightweight clothes & a leather jacket, with a bandanna, to keep my hair up were it long.

LoL.

I would wear dangerously tight jeans and cowboy boots, in honor of the late Patrick Swayze.

hmm have u ever suited up yet?!
im carrying ammo140+shotshells(tactical vest), sidearm(pistol+2mags) mollemedicbag(attached to vest), bandoleer(49shotshells), knife (attachtovest), quiver of 100+arrows(attached to back of vest). weighs about 40+lbs thats only my vest! i still have to carry shotgun+bow.
soo if u think ur carrying armor BLAHAHAHAHahahahahahHAHhaha ur crazy. carry only what u can and what u need.
fully loaded atleast i can still make a run for it and climb a not so high fence or be able too strip off all weight and run like hell.
armor i would suggest be hockey gear(lightweight) and a big A$ sword. be all conan and sh**.
BUT hmmm waving a sword for more then an hour would make u tired or even traveling far with armor on wouldnt be a good idea.
keep your wits about what u want to carry and what u NEED to carry.

What in Gods name are you blathering about ShotGunorBust? Sheesh... you're going Rambo on some Zeds or what?

As for Body Armor... I'm wearing it. Why? Because from all the Rambo's, Col. Kilgors', & Johnny Apocalypse people that are on this site I am more worried about YOU than a Zed.

100+ Arrows? ATTACHED TO Your Vest? Hey, have at it... I'm going for the 5 Liter Camelbak instead....

To the OP: I'm going with the 'Blackwater Merc' gear. I'm not trying to look intimidating, I'm just going with what I know works.

Your Plan is valid man. It's all about light-weight materials and coverage to the proper areas of your body.
I think something in a light kevlar fabric that covers the exposed areas like the neck and arms and hands would probably be best for me and I hate to think how hot you will be in the desert in latex but you may just have something there dude!

if you urinate in the latex it will provide an insulating layer and may even make you seem less palatable to the undead.

hmmmm... I really don't know. This is an area that requires more scientific research.
Have you tested your theory or an actual zombie or have you read about this method in a book?
I might be more inclined to give it serious consideration if I had a bit more evidence.
It really wouldn't work for me anyway and aside from the warming effect (which is ALL I need in the desert) I don't really think it is my cup of tea. Okay.. I'll retract my noogies for now and wait for the real test post-infection. Please share your experiences then and we'll update our training manuals as needed.
Thank you sir! Godspeed!

No way mate!!! This is serious zombie business.. Besides, I'm much more concerned about the Chinese at the moment.
But I figure hey... if I'm prepared for zombies... what will scare me after that?
LOL - perhaps you missed my noogie comment? BT it's on again. I will be paying you a visit real soon!

MAN I am seriously having doubts about inviting you to this group... but of course I'll probably have to save your scroungy skin and the rest of your team when the pudding hits the fan. Good thing I know you are a valuable asset and not just a clown. but if you don't tow your weight.. I'll feed you to the zombies myself... KAPEECH?

When the Zed hits the fan, I am seriously going to try everything I can think of, from Deer scent (hunting stuff) to urinating on myself.

Seriously... If I pee on my leg and the zeds leave me alone... totally worth it.
