Why not add a garden area, maybe an animal pen, you could even put fish in the water surrounding the fence Do you find this valuable?

Just an idea but why not build a green house on the roof. Looks like you have plenty of room and the excess is already there. This would allow you to grow food all year round. Do you find this valuable?

Canning would be a good idea, too. The food preserves for an awful long time. Just in case an emergency happened. I doubt you can lug sheep, cattle, etc., around with you in case you have to leave. Do you find this valuable?

I think I will have enough food to last me, my family and friends a few weeks. But just in case, I think you actually could have potted vegetables on the roof in case you do run out of food. Do you find this valuable?
