Will I survive?

Im new so, I think I won't have much of a chance. But I've read the Max Brooks book zombie survival up to page 176 and have a brother who's read it 3 times, so I might survive. Here's what I'll do if an outbreak happens: store everything upstairs that we own, books, movies, food,etc because, u have to keep busy to survive the mental part of the thig. Then I'd destroy the stairs. Any suggestions? Do you find this valuable?

Yeah, but then what? You not gonna survive long if you think you're gonna stay in that place. Sooner or later, you're gonna have to get out of there. Make sure you have a way to get out out of there Do you find this valuable?

Haha im his brother ive told him that the book doesnt garuntee are survival, and since we live near DC we were gonna ride our bikes to the Nearby National Gaurd Depot our town only has a population of 30,000 and a lot of them are ex-militarists so... Yeah Do you find this valuable?

Dead in under 2 months. Less, more likely. Even with sever rationing, now average house holds enough food for sustained survival. Also, what is to stop the probable fires that will likely spring up when SHTF from consuming your house? And what about water? The average person consumes roughly one gallon of water a day even with rationing. Cruise the website awhile, you'll get a better plan.

Jedahdiah, your plan holds a serious risk as well. Lots of people will go to the Depot, so their will be massive amounts of chaos. And, due to the mass of people, zombies as well. I'd try for something more isolated if I were you. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Look, if you really want to survive a disaster, any disaster (not just zombies) then you need to PREPARE. If the first action you take is when zombies are here, you have acted too late, and will die.

Look at doing some simple stuff first. Make a BOB, see what you can do to stockpile food and water. 2  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?
