"simple, musem or millitary base."
Aren't museum pieces deactivated?

And miltary types tend to keep their **** locked up.

any type of weaponry modern enough to be useful are dismantled in one way or another. And even then you wont have ammo for it (they don't keep live ammunition on display) Do you find this valuable?

well If you get the mounts there are ways to turn a semi auto into a FA add a hand crank on that thing and your set.

Ugh, yeah that'll work well. If you don't break the gun trying, it'll probably discharge randomly on you and kill someone. Do you find this valuable?

Well if you some how get a hold of some type of turret sweet. Doesn't mean you need a full auto weapon to have a good effect. Cause you sit up higher and if you lucky you got ballistic protection on the turret. You could have a rifle and be in good shape on a turret. I only have used a turret on a vehicle and you don't need a hand crank to use it, it just gets in the way.

Saying that if you have no idea what your doing with a heavy machine gun then keep it safe and hopefully you find some one who does. Because if you go full rambo and decide to shoot a 200 round belt in one trigger pull then your going to warp your barrel like a bending straw. Or even worse your barrel will get so hot rounds will start cooking off in the weapon before its even fired.

So just stay away from heavy machine guns if your untrained because you'll end up killing or maiming yourself. Some HMG require certain steps to even get it ready to fire. You'll be sitting around for days trying to figure out why your HMG is shooting a single round when it could be as simple as your barrel is not on the right way.

Just saying

acualy its not hard and works well. Iv put a hand crank on my friends rifle and IT got insane rate of fire. if you plan to fo that route make a water jacket for it

The 36 barrel prototype by metal storm should be featured on this page, theoretically it is the best option for a giant zombie horde, seeing as how it can fire over 1million bullets a minute. if you type "1000000 bullets a minute" into google, you should be able to find a video of it. Yay... One Million (pinkie finger to mouth) Bullets per minute...

Seeing as rounds these days are costing about a buck a round....

Shooting that thing is getting REALLY expensive.

The million bullets a minute claim is exaggerated. The Firestorm uses an electrical firing system to fire case-less ammunition at an extremely high rate. It accomplishes this by stacking the rounds one ontop of the other with a power charge in between. There are no moving parts, which allows for the incredible rate of fire, however once its empty, its empty. Do you find this valuable?

Reminds me of the team fortress 2 "meet the heavy" skit
"This is my weapon... she weighs 150 kilograms and fires 200$ custom-tooled cartridges at a rate of 10'00 rounds per minute... It costs 400.000$ to fire this gun for twelve seconds."
In any case, may a turret that helps the rifles accuracy and penetration be a good asset?

Yes I am aware of how they work. I've been following the Firestorm system since it first appeared as an Artist's Conception in Popular Mechanics.

This video could be used as an example for many of our armchair "I'm gunna get a minigun and pwn zombies" commandos.
