Hey.
I love that you are making these because I am really behind on my car skills but could I make a small wish?
Could you go into detail on the alternator? You who have seen "The Colony" have seen the alternator/lawnmower/gasifier they build to make electricity knows why.
Just a thought I had while reading.

an alternator will create A/C power as long as the magnet is turning around the copper strips. so you could in threory conect an alternator to anything from a motor a biycle or a hand crank. the only problume is that most appliances run on D/C power . so your going to have to have a diode and capaictor set up in order to have a usible power sorce 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
