My Survival Plan

I finally got a basic plan down. I have more written down on paper, but I wanted to upload it to get feeback from you guys! So please give it a look over and give me any advice, criticism, or help. Thank you all!

Just looking at the local population, 135,000 at 2001 census. That's quite a bit. You might want to consider fleeing to a more remote BOL. One little used escape route would be the river. If you can get access to a boat, you could load everything on there and head out quicker than if you get stuck in Panic traffic.If you are going to insist on staying put, there are better locations quite close to you. 52.755669, 0.403584 there is a school. Smaller windows, and a playing field to grow food on. 52.748555, 0.381361 there is a large selection of warehouses, and to the south of those a good sized field. Do you find this valuable? |

The school isnt a bad idea. And its very close to the morissons if we needed food. As for the warehouses, That's where my Dad works :P But we would have to take a ferry across the river and that would be hard. And If i had a boat, I would use the river to head out to sea and then make trips in using the river for supplies... Do you find this valuable? |

"Post Z day, are you expecting a lot of traffic?"Well the town does have very weird roads. Its a 1 way circuit through the whole town. theres a very real chance the town would get clogged quicker than Kirsty Alleys heart in a cake shop. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

"But you are going to be heading out after the Panic, right? So whilst there might be abandoned cars, you can just shunt them out of the way. Do you find this valuable? |

That's why I would use the rail roads because everything else would be clogged. Or at least thats what I am preparing for. The thing is, there's no room to shunt them out of the way! In England the roads are NARROW! Do you find this valuable? |

strong plan so far but here are few questions. What happens if your convoy heads out and finds your destination on fire. Do you have second destination in mind that allows you to take advantage of the railroad tracks? Are your bullet points in any particular order in terms of importance? Are these railroad tracks used frequently? For Commuter, Cargo, Both? How far is your intended compound from the nearest, police station, firestation, Hospital, school, any place that would be used as emergency shelter and such double as high concentration of zeds or at least competition for the resources you hope to claim for your own?

I haven't had time to read your actual plan, but some formatting advice is that you add a Table Of Contents to your first page (the one that this thread is under). Add links to all the pages in your survival plan with short descriptions. If you need help, let me know. The reason for this is that upon visiting the page for the first time it looks like you don't have anything... it would be better to have a Directory or TOC there. Do you find this valuable? |

This is why I uploaded the plan before it was done so I could get some feedback. Thanks :) 2.The bullet points aren't in order of importance. I will work on that though. 3.They aren't very busy because its the end of the line. It is used for both commuter and cargo. 4. The police station is on the other side of town, No fire station, Hospital is on the other side of the train tracks. The only thing nearby is a small school but it is tucked away. I added the Index Stryker :) Do you find this valuable? |

you need to be very cautious about those tracks then, if its the end of the line you may have a train load of survivors or zeds show on your door step, or refugees on foot wandering down those track. Additionally where its the end of the line your going to have worry about someone derailing a train in your backyard. However you might get lucky havesome one show up with a useful cargo but I wouldn't hold your breath.
