do you "kill" these infected the same way u kill the zombies in the movies by shooting cutting off or destroying the head? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Pretty sure if you cut the head off almost anything it will DIE! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Well that all depends on which organs are functioning. If only the brain was functional then you would have to destroy the brain, if all of the host's organs are functioning you could kill it like a normal human being.

36janice: Considering the brain is the epicentre of control, destruction of the brain only will result in 'death'. Cutting off the head will render the host immobile but the head will be partially effective for a short time afterwards, until the brain tissue is burned for ATP.
br5ooksrwally: Very unlikely - blood travels very quickly
PingPong98: Not exactly. Killing the host within approximately 3 hours of infection will possibly prevent reanimation, but afterwards organs are merely sources of energy.
