Thought experiment
Dec 22 2009, 9:08 AM EST | Post edited: Dec 22 2009, 9:08 AM EST
I have been throwing an idea around in my, Constantly active, Head. And that idea was a gauging reactions
to scenarios, And I have decided to conduct a thought experiment over the rest of my winter break (Frosh in HS). And anyone that is interested should post a character name and requested abilities (Welding, carpentry etc.) on this thread.

So do you want to start a role playing game or what? Its hard to just ask people to create a character without including frames of reference. I have not played A pen and paper RPG myself but I have seen enough to know that all the papers and dices fill a function to facilitate the role playing.
Or is it not a RPG you want to do? more info needed.

What I'm doing is something me and an old friend of mine called an "IM"game, or as my brother-in law would call it "mudding" no dice needed, And add frame of reference if you will, but you don't have to.

On a further note, your right about the dice, and me and my younger cousin play these a lot, and I am trying to convince him of this, but he disagrees relentlessly

Let me rephrase the "Add a FOR" thing, I don't care what nationality your character is,
or if there name means anything, and your professions have to be more modern things, So hope that clarifies things a little bit.

You all find yourselves in a abandoned mansion, Donal, you have personal reasons for being there, because it's a relatives house that was "attacked" by the "infections" the rest of you are his body guards and are required to accompany him on things of this manner, Each of the body guards gets and MP5, and Donal has a colt M1911.
Which stands to question, what do you all want to do?

since its obvious that this thread is dead/ going to die, how about this... ill take up as the GM and start us off.

(Those are the floor plans for the mansion. )

Currently the mansion is not under siege, though reports of insane people on the streets have begun flooding the TV's, and footage of these individuals have begun flooding the net.

With the building currently serving as a hotel, each room houses about two people. Create your characters giving a name, basic description of their looks, what their job is, a hobby, and a little about who they are.
