Can these viruses jump species? Do you find this valuable?

Are you sure your spelling these right? I've never even heard of them and plus i tried looking them up on the web to see what the hell they even were and couldn't find anything. I'm not trying to say your lying or anything just maybe the spelling is incorrect? Do you find this valuable?

I think someone was playing around, trying to "create" a virus that would result in a zombie.

The name Lyssasangravirus-- with Lyssavirus (which does exist, one species of which is rabies) and sangre, which is Spanish for blood.

I'm not sure how this person came up with Halinespirovirus--a salt-loving spirochete is all I can think of.

Comatis Ambula--one walking in a coma-like state--a zombie, when paired with these neat little "viruses."

So, I don't think that there is anything to worry about...yet.

Edit: I don't know what I was thinking...a spirochete is a bacteria. A spiral-shaped virus.

Go to the survival guide in the box that is in the top right corner and then go to co-infection theory and that is where you will find the viruses. But I might be spelling them wrong.

Go to "the survival guide" then go to co-infection theory and it will show the viruses I am talking about. It should be something like that.

PingPong, this is a FICTIONAL page. If you google any of the virus names, ZSDW is the top answer.

I'm moving this into the fiction section.
1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Hah! Yeah, I wrote this a while back and wasn't sure where to put it. It's entirely fiction - but I was trying to create a plausible theory as to how something dead walks around with a level of awareness. Cheers! Do you find this valuable?

So what's your biology background, out of curiosity? I think things like this are rather fun myself. :)

Only High School biology (formally) but with some self learning from my wife's texts (studying biological sciences at Uni).
I was going to write a story based on it too, but just haven't got to it yet.
Edit:
Oh yeah, the names: just made them up out of latin.

They live, yet they breathe not.
