I just though about my take down .22. It fits inside 7 by 20 by 1.5in container, so I thought I would have a outer shell of denim, (jeans) middle shell of weatherproof material,(trash bag, the big black ones,) and an inner shell, something soft to protect the gun.(Fleece or flannel, flannel would work better since there would be no static.)

I suggest to you all to make your own bags. You can customize it to your own needs.

I have been thinking of making my own MOLLE pouches, for that perfect custom fit, but truth is, there are so many sizes out there its really not worth it. Do you find this valuable?

Why not just buy them. It isn't exactly a piece of cake making them. I think Molle is okay and is the best for unique customisation but you can easily find a decent one already made for you.

I’m a self described gear queer so I’ll tell you a few things that work for me. I have tried to roll my own so to speak a few times with varying degrees of success. It would really depend on what we were talking about. I would highly suggest tactical tailor, or ATS tactical, they make some of the best gear out there and the prices are very reasonable.

I actually changed the bag to Trashbag(outer shell) fleece, denim, (Innder shell.)

I personally prefer to make my own bags since getting money is hard for those under 16 :)
