I was thinking about hiding on the loal tressle bridge. It is elevated over about 50 feet above the river. The train no longer runs on top, so it will be easy to set up without major problems. Unlike many bridges, the railing on the side has hooks, making it a great place to set up rescue banners and communications. There is a small bridge that goes right under it, so the best thing to do would be to raise it (its a mini draw bridge) Or destroy it. It would make a good sniping point, and since the sides of the bridge are connected to large hills leading into an unpopulated forest, zombies in the streets below wouldn't be able to get up easily. Lucky enough, there is a concrete facillity right nearby, so I can get barriers :D Its a great place to stay Please tell me if I made a good desision or not 5 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

I'll jump in on this one.Pros: Sounds like an excellent hiding place. Hard to get to, good vantage point, sounds like it has a good method to rappel to the ground. Cons: It sounds hard to 'get out' of. Do you have an 'oh ****' exit, because zombies will group around you, raiders will flush you out. Do you find this valuable? |

I never quite thought of that.Still, a local Wawa is there, and I could hide in the storage room And then again, I could slide down the ropes as a last resort (IF im lucky, I'd probably die anyway) 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I live around the area and know exactly what you're talking about... Thats a really good idea, but it does seem like a crappy place to be stuck when you're bombarded. I'm sure you wont be found as long as you keep it low key. Its really high up, so you have a great advantage to the more dated zombies with hanging limbs and such :)

what about food and water? Is it well set up for you getting to food, or no? Not something that necessarily downgrades the bridges effectiveness, but something to consider when packing. Also, how many people do you expect in your group? that will change the usefulness of the bridge drastically. Do you find this valuable? |
