Those of you who lack weapons now, here is a great place to post your "dream weapons." Be ready to receive input, comments, criticism, or kudos on your choices. If you already have a big pile of guns, go ahead and post your inventory to show the FNG's a thing or two. Guidelines: Realistic weapons only. NO fantasy or video-game weapons, NO nuclear bombs, etc. Be prepared to get your choices commented on. If you cannot take criticism or advice, this isn't the place for you. Skreezy0311	2. RE: What weapons would you have in a Zombie Apocalypse? Feb 11 2010, 3:51 PM EST IMO Mossy 500 is good choice it is a fairly cheap shotgun with alot of aftermarket accessories. I currently own a Glock 22/23, a .22 revolver, ruger 10/22, remy 870 and im looking into buying a AK47. I decided on an AK due to my experience with a M16A4. After 180 round fired in a M16 with no cleaning it starts to slow down and my issued weapon likes to double and triple feed(yes triple feed). The AK suits my plan because I will tend to be moving around alot and cleaning will be far and inbetween. The whole fight between AKvs AR/M4/16 is the same arguement between ford vs chevy vs dodge. Feb 11 2010, 4:00 PM EST glock 23, Savage 300, Stag AR-15, Savage 30-06,...want a Remington 870 express tactical...thinking about dropping the 30-06 and 300 for a Remington 700. I don't care to much for the 30-06 but I don't think I could get ride of the 300. it's just too damn good of a rifle. St1Emtff	5. RE: What weapons would you have in a Zombie Apocalypse? Feb 11 2010, 4:31 PM EST Currently own CMMG M4, Taurus 1911 .45, M44 Mosin, Detective .38 Special. If i could chose a few more I would set the M4 down for a Socom 16 or regular style M14, trade Taurus for a Para-ordnance or Kimber, Get rid of Mosin completely since M14 can do both snipe and medium-close range. So dream loadout (weapons) would be M14 with ACOG, A long range quick detach scope for the M14, Full-size 1911 in Thigh holster, concealed Para-ordnance Nighthog, and a Benelli M4 in a scabbard on the back of my Molle vest. Feb 11 2010, 5:54 PM EST i got a nice compact Glock .45 acp , AR 10 armalite .308, 16 inch barel, iron sights, collapsable stock, and my pride and absolute joy, a Saiga 12ga, with pistol grip and m4 stock. Mmmmmm Ammo? 3 8rnd mags .45 hollows 2 25rnd mags .308 tracer, 6 25rnd mags .308 ball 2 10rnd mags of buck an ball combos for the saiga cuz you can have bullets, and you can have mags, but if you dont have them combined your gonna be suckin. I'd trade out the ruger for a stag AR (5.56) and instead of a 30-06 i'd go with the 308 cal Rem700. also, I love the glock 23 so I'd have to take the 40 or the 9mm. those tactical tomahawks are bad***. I've wanted one for about 2 years now. seems there's always something else that takes its place on the purchasing line for some reason though, do u have one? can't go wrong with a ka-bar, and hand-crafted katana would be wicked. Having any weapon is better than trying to box them -_- . Dream weapons however, well thats a totally different story. XM8 Assault Rifle with 2X or 4X Scope XM25 Sniper rifle - 6X or 8X scope For Pistol: Either a Beretta 92 or Jericho (AKA Baby Eagle) Machete or Metal baseball bat. My Zombie plan involves VERY heavy fortification gained by hijacking a semi truck and stealing materials from Home depot or Menards and then clearing the local area surrounding my building with sniper fire form the roof. The Moss 500 is on my gun "wish list" right now. No particular reason other than it is small(er), does the job, and not that expensive. I currently own a bubba'ed out SKS as you can see in my icon there, which i love, but if it was a perfect situation i would love an M4 variant with some nice toys on it just because it would be more compact, accurate, and I developed a fondness for the series when i was in the service. I also have a CZ75, 9mm, which i couldn't really think of any other pistol that i would want to have, other than a Ruger Super Redhawk, just because they RULE. Lastly I have a Mosin-Nagant M44, which is an urban combat variant of the famous sniper rifle used in "Enemy At the Gates". This is really my son's, i bought it simply because of ease of use and price, the ammo is a bit hard to find being 7.62X54. This isn't really a Zombie killing wonder weapon, but it fires like a CANNON. Other great ones for the wish list would be a Ruger mini 14, which would be a great zombie-dropper, but with the lower caliber assault rifles you'd need head shots, but depending on what type of zombie you are talking about may or may not be neccesary anyway. My only exception is to your sword. Instead of a katana, a falcata would be a much better choice. They originate from ancient Iberia, possibly of Etruscan origin, but are desiged to deliver the type of extreem decapitating blow that would be required. Feb 12 2010, 12:39 AM EST In terms of guns, i would be using my springfield 30-06 bolt action rifle, with plenty of ammo, a Glock G-19 with 9 spare mags, & possibly my dads H&K MP5(my dad gave it to me). For edged id have my celtic claymore & my navy ka bar. Melee, id use my aluminum baseball bat & for misc weapons id have my blow gun with .22 cal hunting shot, my sling shot with .177 hunting shot & a bag of marbles, & my yew recurve bow with full 20 round quiver.alot i know, but most likely the misc will only be for hunting & be packed up Post reply Do you find this valuable?
