Starbucks is small potatoes. The real prize will be if the SCOTUS finally throws down that the 2nd amendment really is a right not subject to bullsh!t from states and cities full of Nazi anti-gun laws 5 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

That's funny you brought this up Mr. Survivor15.Chicago is in the midst of removing its gun ban. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/politics/sns-ap-us-supreme-court-guns,0,321328.story This would be a +10 for my possible Chicagoland relocation. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Good for Starbucks! I'm quite glad that they've adopted this position. Frankly, this gun control **** is starting to irritate me.

"Hey, more power to them. I have to say i have a slightly higher level of respect for them"Starbucks...All I know about starbucks is that when my TC wrote them to try to see if they would send us some coffee at our FOB in '06, they pretty much sent him a response telling him to **** off because they don't support the war. **** starbucks; disrespect us soldiers, we stop respecting you. Startbucks is just becoming a real american now, with allowing open carry and the 31 oz "Trenta", guess thier done with the euro-trash, socalite, yuppie, ultra-modern, metro man appeal

Seems like they just want to be left out of it. They have a reasonable company policy based on the local laws. The gun control nuts want to make them change their policy, so they tell the gun control nuts to **** off because they don't want to lose potential customers simply because their carrying a weapon. Only reason their not telling gun rights advocates to **** off is cause they're not telling them to do anything. All in all, I'd say if you're a gun rights advocate, you haven't really gained an ally in Starbucks, you just didn't get a new enemy. "Startbucks is just becoming a real american now, with allowing open carry and the 31 oz "Trenta", guess thier done with the euro-trash, socalite, yuppie, ultra-modern, metro man appeal"And they didn't "just become" this, this has always been their policy. Just that when it was tested they stuck to their guns (pun semi-intended) And trust me, they'll never be done with the "euro-trash, socalite, yuppie, ultra-modern, metro man" appeal. Yeah, but the huge cup o' coffee is making star bucks seem more red white and blue. There isn't anything is the USA that we don't supersize, that includes our national debt

off topic but i feel proud of it and i just happened to stumble upon this and decided to tel.l i had to write a paper over a historical figure or a controversial issue in the united states and i chose my second amendment rights. i made the point that a switchblade is illegal to carry yet a fixed blade is not as long as it follows the rules of the law. i also made the point that bowie knives are illegal in texas, the state that made them famous. and one other point was that even if you get your class 3 you are still restricted to buying guns manufactured before 1986 which i think is a total load and i let that POS obama know. and that debt comment vegabondvance: obama has spent more money than all of our other presidents COMBINED. wtf? well i guess thats a democrat for you "charge and we'll pay back later with the money i magically pull out of my ass or the govt will bail me out"and i think its also a total load that starbucks wont support the war. if they wont stand behind them then maybe they should pick up and m-16 or m4 and get infront of them. rant of the day by: rusrsbrah? :D 0 out of 1 found this valuable. That silly chain email has been done to death throughout all the branches of service. Everybody *knows a guy* who knew someone who this happened to. The fact is, starbucks never did this. It was an internet hoax. This rumor has been going around since about 2004, twp years before your deployment. http://www.snopes.com/politics/military/starbucks.asp Try not to be so gullible. 3 out of 3 found this valuable.
