leather jumpsuit armor

so i was thinking a leather jumpsuit of some kind. yes it would be hard to make but impossible to bite thru. you could also sew on some plates of some sort for extra protection. kydex is easily form fitted. metal is tougher to form fit but would be stronger and more bullet proof due to raiders. down side: youd have to custom make it and unless you can sew then your screwed. and even if you can ur out of alot of money. just spitballin. :) Do you find this valuable?

You can also get the super lightweight stainless chain mail armor, it is light and bite proof. And not too expensive, try ringlord, they have stuff you can make too. The hard leather and steel is a great idea, but really stiff, and the steel plate would have to be very thick to stop the most common 5.56 rounds (most that own AR-15s also have the military ammo) stay light and fast.

Edited to not sound stupid.

Go to any welding supply store, welding studio, industrial outfitter store etc. for a leather welding suit that is full body protection and about 8-10 pounds total.

metal is bullet resistant when its made about 1/4 inch thick, you really want to lug around multiple plates of 1/4 inch steel, which would only stop .22 cal rounds, & even if it stops the round the energy is still going into you & that will kill you if it hits in the right spot. the leather is a good idea if you live in a cold area, if you live in a southern area thats warm year round your screwed (unless your like me & wear motorcycle leathers so much you get used to the heat), sew chain mail into the lining of a leather jacket, that will stop swords & catch most bullets, as well as doubling your bite protection (sharks cant even bite though it for christs sake). the leather will help stop knives & the combo of mail & leather will stop arrows should you come across an archer

Just wear some leather biker gear. It's bite resistant and it's not that heavy. If you're getting shot at you want mobility not a suit of armor. Just gives them more time and an easier time of getting a head shot.

Should fit right in if you hit up any post apocalyptic gay bars.

I've posted on at least 15 armor threads, and I still think it is useless. If you intend on getting bit a lot, make a better plan.

Really? Go run in the chain mail. A good chain mail will weigh probably around 15 to 20 kg. Now strap on your BOB. That's an extra 30 kg or so. Have fun.
And if any "noob" manages to survive long enough with a katana to meet you, he's probably just going to lop you head off.

i already run with my armor & BOB on in training sessions with my team, i can move just as well as i do with out the armor & again if anyone gets within striking distance someones getting their ass kicked for not doing their job, the goget will prevent any beheading

Well full body armor would be useless but having some on your calves and forearms would make the difference.

Those are areas most likely to get bit in a sudden attack.
