" i have made a cap gun that shots bb pellets, which can be usefull if Z-Day comes and you want a gun."I'm sure it would have some use for small game hunting, and practice shooting. That said if you can upgrade to a real gun do so, and get in some practice with it. Aside from all that, your ability to improvise will serve you well. Now the best thing you can do in life is listen, and there is no difference here. Read and consider what others have written, a lot of the writings contain some good pointers. And welcome to the ZSDW 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

" i have made a cap gun that shots bb pellets, which can be usefull if Z-Day comes and you want a gun."1. Can you test it on a chronograph to test the velocity of the pellet? Most gun shops that also have a large bow section or a paintball field will have one they might let you use. 2. What type of propellant are you using? What do you mean by cap? Those long red strips old cap guns used to use? 3. Is it a single shot? How long does it take and how easy is it to reload? 4. What are the penetration abilities of the round? Can it penetrate skin or bone? 5. How reliable is the accuracy? 6. Is the gun designed to handle the internal pressure required to fire the pellet? Is there a risk of material failure and wear through extended use? Do you find this valuable? |

" i have made a cap gun that shots bb pellets, which can be usefull if Z-Day comes and you want a gun."What bothers me most is the lack of full coherent thoughts coming from brand new members here. I feel like I'm reading letters to Santa not enjoyable discussions made to be read and debated by adults and young adults alike. It feels like people are reaching for compliments and praise on these threads. Until you put out some better material, look elsewhere. Do you find this valuable? |

"hey i can make a throwing knife from my mom's kitchen knives "No... no you can't If it's marked 440 stainless steel, I should never hear you using the term weapon in the same sentence. Do you find this valuable? |

"Reasonable enough to withstand combat required to kill the undead?"Ugh, I hate 440. I've had bad experience with it. I like 1055, VG-1,1095, AUS-8, and 4116 Krupp. Why? Because most 440 knives I've seen are Chinese garbage. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

"Ugh, I hate 440. I've had bad experience with it. I like 1055, VG-1,1095, AUS-8, and 4116 Krupp. There are three types of 440 stainless, A, B, and C. Carbon content increases the further you get down the list, with C being the highest. C is generally used for cutlery and various tools with proper heat treat it can provide a good workable blade. Most of the stuff from china is 440a as it is more easily machined. Realistically though, you don't see the C listed on the blade or anywhere else for that matter, so yes, if possible find a different one, but as I say, a blade in the hand is worth two in the shop four miles away. "but my country have a riot control..And a riot shield and less-than-lethal weapon is supposed to save you against the murderous horde? @Brandon, yes but as you've mentioned it needs to be heat treated. To me that is comparable to waving around a stick and calling it a war hammer. Do you find this valuable? |
