Martial Arts WOULD work quite well against zombies, especially boxing, Muay Thai, and TKD.

People (especially military folk) say TKD is not a "combat sport". It is. Many "Military Folk" that have dropped by our TKD school have bee soundly defeated and often walk away bitter.

TKD, Boxing, and Muay Thai emphasize lots of smashing. Some martial arts that rely on nerve damge wouldn't work well against zombies because zombies have dead nerves.

I'm pretty sure that a flying back kick to a slightly moldy undead skull can do quite some damage.

Not really as most martial arts rely on pins, knockouts, and causing disabling amounts of pain. All are quite useless on something that could feel no pain, won't care if your on top, or can't be knocked out.

In fact the best martial art is nike-jitsu aka running to fight another day

P.s is that you pokecrazy?

I do MMA which incorporates boxing. Seeing as Zombies are slightly moldy, I think that I could smash its neck, at least. Can zombies operate with a snapped neck? :)

I am new to this site, and already another person thinks I'm "Poke" or Pok Crazy". :/

Nobody does "MMA". MMA is the name of a mixture of specific martial arts. Every MMA fighter has specific martial arts that person practices. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

To above: For example, I pracitce karate at a MMA studio.

And martial arts would do a small amout to the undead, mostly Judo (throw them on their back; if you're lucky they will be like turtles and can't get up) and other arts which focus on escaping holds if a zombie grabs you. However, this idea was blatantly plagerized, so I'm not agreeing with the ogre (ogre = epic troll).
