Here is a list of resources for medical treatment because you will not likely have access to a doctor in a Zombie Day scenario.

Free Download of the book "where there is no doctor"
http://www.hesperian.org/publications_download.php

This site has a wonderful blog for tactical medics.
http://www.tacmedsolutions.com

Youtube has plenty of videos that are great resources for learning how to use medical supplies. It shouldn't replace proper instruction but it is better than nothing

Also this website has great resources for IPOD applications that are useful. assuming of course you can keep your ipod running post z day.

I saw else where that Pedro made a post as to what to have in your first aid kit. I have a couple of qualms about that. 1. AED. NO NO NO NO NO. Unless you can monitor real cardiac arthymia and know how to diagnose and treat that arthymia then you are wasting your time and batter power on an AED. AED's are designed to keep someone alive long enough for them to get to a hospital. So they can get the 12 lead EKG's and get evaluated by a real doctor.

Second. 1 Triangle Bandage... REALLY! NO Bandana's and Triagle bandages are so multipurpose you should have MANY of them.

Here is what a military aid bag will be stocked with

AIRWAY:
OPA various sizes
NPA various sizes
Cric Kit
King LT

IV Access:
Heplocks or Saline Locks
Alcohol Wipes
2x2 gauze
18ga cath 1.25 in
IV tubing
NS, Ringer's Lactate HEXSTARCH 500ml or 1000ml Bags
Torniquet

Trauma:
Isreali Bandage
Kerlex rolled gauze
Triangle Bandage
Quickclot Combat Gauze
4x4 gauze
bandaids
CAT Torniquets

Chest decompression:
Hypen or Bolen Chest Seal
14ga 3 in angio cath

SLINTING:
SAM Splints
Triangle Bandange

Shock/Cold Injuries:
Emergency Casualty Blanket

Drugs:
Benadryl
Morphine*
Fetanyl *
Narcan *
Phenergan *
Antibotics *
Motrin
Naproxen
Asprin
Mucinex D

* your going to have to knock off a drug store for these items.

Obviously this is meant for HEALTHY adult males in a combat zone. If you are a woman or not so healthy you should stock a 30 day supply of medication with you at all times and spend those 30 days trying to get more.
